Biological survey of wetlands of the Jurien coast

Biological surveys of wetlands along the Jurien coast have been funded by offsets from CSR Gyrock. Stage 1 was a survey of aquatic invertebrates undertaken in 2011/12 and was co-funded by Department of Water. Stage 2 is a survey of wetland associated vegetation and frogs.

The invertebrate survey is complete and has been submitted as a paper in the Journal of the Royal Society of WA and as a report on diversity of springs to Dept Water, both provided below.

As of January 2015, the botanical and amphibian surveys are in progress.
