Swan-Canning Estuary – Seagrass Monitoring and Evaluation

The seagrass monitoring program commenced in 2011, the project aims to record and report on seagrass health and pressures, assisting in conservation management with the intent to ensure continually viable and resilient seagrass communities within the Swan Canning Estuary. The outcomes of seagrass monitoring supports reporting on overall Estuary health through the objectives outlined in the Swan Canning River Protection Strategy.
